Farming is an important part of life in the Hopewell Valley, and all of our municipalities support our local farmers. The Hopewell Township Agricultural Advisory Committee is specifically vested with the responsibility of promoting and preserving agriculture as a viable economic activity within Hopewell Township. Working on a Township-wide basis, the Committee serves as a forum for discussion of local agricultural practices and as an agent of change for public policies that may impact farming and the preservation of farmland.

BECOME A LOCAVORE!
“Locavore”, according to the Webster folks, is now an official word. It means someone who eats only things grown locally. Eating locally-produced food saves energy (by avoiding shipping costs) & supports local farming. And the food that you buy will be much fresher and taste better!
