Electronics & Household Hazardous Waste Collection

The next scheduled collection date is Saturday, June 5, 2021 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. And if you miss that one, the last collection of the year will be on Saturday, September 11. Learn more

Hazardous waste accepted: aerosol cans, insect repellents, pesticides and herbicides, car batteries, rechargeable and button cell batteries, paint thinner, oil-based paint (not latex-based!), stains & varnishes, gasoline, anti-freeze, used motor oil, propane gas tanks, driveway sealer, mercury (in old thermostats and thermometers, for example), fluorescent tubes & compact fluorescent (CFL) bulbs.

Electronics accepted: computers, printers, copiers, fax machines, stereos, televisions and microwaves. Do not bring humidifiers, dehumidifiers or air conditioners (for the latter two, try NJ’s Appliance Recycling Program here).
